losing some one you care about

              ok this blog goes out to a girl I don’t know that well but I love with all my heart she has been there even though I don't talk to her that much! I freaking love this girl so much and today is her last day at this school! And well I really just don’t want her to leave! I can’t say goodbye to this girl! She means so much to all of us and she means the world to me I just wish I could have gotten a lot more time with her than I have! I am just going to say it I love Brittani Danielle Simpson and I am not going to be able to watch her walk out that door at 3:30 today! I swear I will just break down and cry! As I am writing this there are tears in my eyes! I am trying to hard not to cry right now! I just know that I will get to see her soon! And I will never lose contact with this girl and if I notice she is starting not to text back I will just keep blowing up her phone till she has to answer! I am not going to lose her! Brittani I just want you to know even though we didn’t get that close you are still like a bigger sister to me and I don’t know what I am going to do without you! Please text me every day and tell me how you are doing and what has been going on! I would give anything for you not to leave! Britt you are my older sister and I freaking love you so much! And I don’t know what this school is going to do without you! You better come visit me all the time!!!

freedom weekend!!

So this weekend at North east Christian church was freedom weekend! it was a weekend for all of the youth to get together and mingle and learn about God while having fun! So this weekend consists of free time when we got there! it was for high school students and middle school students. After about an hour of just getting to hang out we went upstairs and got to listen to our youth leader for a little bit! Which was amazing and then he showed us a video which was a video of the week a few weeks ago! And he did one of the videos of the week every day this freedom weekend for a good laugh. Which I think we all loved it so much. Too bad the series is over where we did a video of the week. But all I know is that I cannot wait till next year’s freedom weekend because I had a blast! Oh yeah and we stayed at host homes which was awesome because I stayed with my small group leader which I love! She has taught me so it isn’t even funny! Words can’t describe how much I love the church and the people. But back to what I was talking about freedom weekend consists of fun and god and more fun! We had the leader of Hawk Nelson come for his first solo concert his name is Jason Dunn!! And words can’t describe how much I love this concert and how much he means to everyone that was there! He has been struggling with diabetes and his solo concert was to raise money for a cure of diabetes which I think was amazing for all the youth at the church to hear about and hear his story about it. He told us about his life and his family and did a great concert! I cannot wait till I can go see him in concert again and he also did a donation jar and forever dollar he made he was going to double it to put forth a cure for diabetes! And we also did a service project which was a great thing for the high school students and the middle school students! The junior and senior group went down town to the life hope center to help clean up and get it ready for Monday! Which I am so glad I got to be of help! The center is a place for homeless people to go during the day!  So then we go back to the church for that Jason Dunn concert! I can’t say it enough I love him and his music so much!! That is all I have talked about since Saturday! But so when we got done with the concert we had a session which we had some kids give their heart to the lord that weekend or at least I hope we did! God worked in so many good ways and I am so glad I got to be there with all my friends and youth leaders I feel like they are my family! I don’t know how I lived without them! But anyway on Sunday Jason Dunn came and he did worship service and sang with the kids and the adult choir and then he did a solo number which he did amazing on words can’t describe how good he did! I really hope we can get the youth group back together and go to another one of his concerts! I miss freedom weekend and I missing being able to listen to Jason Dunn sing in person I mean it is good listening to him online but it is so much more inspiring in person! He made me start thinking about what I am going to do in my life and what I can do to spread the word of god anywhere I go in life! All I know is that god has changed my life this weekend and I am so glad he did!

why i think students should be allowed to have their phones in school

Why I think students should be allowed to have their phones in school.

                   Ok I’m going to be completely honest I understand why the teachers don’t want us to have our phones at school or in class. But I think if the students turn their phones off and put them away I don’t see why it would be a problem for the students or the teachers. But I mean if the student is on their phones during class then I see why the teachers don’t want them but if we don’t use them and if we get caught with them then that’s our fault and we should take the consequence like a high school student should.

                   My second reason that kids should be able to keep their phones during school is if something in the family pops up. And their parents just need to text and tell them something. And if the students don’t text other students and distract them from their work I don’t see why it would be that big of a problem for the teachers to just let them have the phone on them.

                   My third reason that kids should be able to keep their phones with them during school is to us like Google for like in class work. And also if you are in a language class they should be able to use Google translator if the teacher says they don’t have a problem with it. Also the students would use a lot less paper and can type the notes on their phones or like an Ipad. And be able to study them without having to take a big backpack home. This is a good thing for a lot of students.

                   My last reason that kids should be able to keep their phones with them at school is when they are done with their work they could listen to music or play a game. But that is only if they are done with all their work.

one direction

One direction, where do I begin… ok so when they first came out I did not like them at all I thought they were just a stupid boy band that all the girls would love for a little while and then one Wednesday my friend and I were going to church and I heard there song one thing. I became in love with the song and I had no idea who was singing it but when you told me I was completely shocked. So then I started listening to their music and watch videos of them on YouTube. Which I am not going to lie they are really funny. But I have always loved boys with accents so when I heard them talk I fell head over hills… I am completely obsessed with everything they do and when they have a new song I listen to it over and over till I know every word to the whole song and who sings what party. Some may call me obsessive but the ones who understand what I am talking about are called directioners. Like if they ever come anywhere near Lexington I will be first in line for sure I will wait out there days before the tickets even go on sale to wait and get them! Yes I know that is very weird but hey they hot and they can sing and they have accents what do you expect? Well as you should know their names are Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and my favorite Niall Horan. As you should know Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis are all from England but Niall Is from Ireland. He is the only blonde one in the group! Louis is the oldest one in the group the three is Niall, Zayn, Liam are all 19 and then the baby of the group is Harry. So I just listen to their new song which was amazing!!! They are the cutest thing ever and Dylan wants to argue and they look stupid and their hair is stupid but in reality he is just jealous because they are so amazing!! There new tour is starting soon!!! They are going to be in Louisville and be and Brittani and Kelli are all going to see them no matter what! I hope they will have some new music and everything!!! They are legit my life and I have no idea what I would do with out them I feel crazy for not thinking they were cool…

knee surgery

Ok. So Friday I am supposed to be having knee surgery which I know I need to. But I am so scared!! Like I don’t want something to go wrong and mess up! But I know that god will always be there and will make sure that everything is going to go great! But the recovery is going to be hard! I will have to walk on crutches for a few weeks and be in a straight leg brace but I mean whatever will make me better than that’s all that matters. All I know is that my friends will be here for me and will help me threw it. I hope that with all of this that it will make me a better cheerleader and will be pain free! Cheer is my life and I don’t know what I would do without it! What Is wrong with my knee is I have plica. Which everyone has it but in my knee it has grown so much that it folds over three times and causes a lot of pain. The recovery time is a good amount of time but I am going to take it easy for a while. All I can pray for is that it is ready for cheer season! And I have full confidendence that everything will be ok.

bluegrass baptist cheer!

this will be my second year cheering for bluegrass and if i much say it is amazing! we always have so much fun!! the coach is great i couldnt have asked for a better cheer coach for us!! it is 6-12th grade that can cheer varisty. are practice is fun! and very good work out for us! we have 14 cheerleaders so far! But the games don't start for 2 months which I think is good so we will hav plenty of time to practice but I think we are doing great this year! I have full faith that we are going to do amazing this year not saying we weren't last year but I know this year will be even better !! And the coach is amazing !! We all love her very much(:
